Newnan Georgia show Feb 16-17

Will be bring old english pairs . Wheaten, bb red, self blues. Also a trio of wlr cornish bantams, maybe a chocolate orpington roo, a few started pairs of millie fluer cochin chicks.

Looking for a dark brahma roo, silkies that carry the paint gene pullets

I'll be looking for show quality call ducks, OEGB (spangle, white, blue, red pyle and/or red blue), self blue d'uccle cockerel, and good mille fleur d'uccle pullets.

I still have a few silkie cockereal juveniles left if anybody is interested in them, I have a splash and one that I don't know what to call the color. It's mostly blue with darker blue spots that are large spots, not like a splash and the feathers under it are a lighter blue almost lav. He is 11 weeks old. His parents are a self blue hen and porcelain roo. The parents are from Bobbi Porto stock. I have 1 splash pullet that is 7 weeks old Parents are both splash and the roo came from Bobbi Porto stock and the hen was bought at an auction so I don't know her background. I'm asking $20 each for these

I also have chicks left from a project. The parents are a non crested blue sizzle hen and a WC blue polish bantam roo. The chicks range from black, blue and splash and lav in color. I have 3 smooth chicks and 2 silkied. They hatched on 12/15/12. Then I have 2 more that are smooth, One is splash and the other is blue and these two hatched on 12/22/12

Below are the 2 youngest

Then below is the last one that hatched on 1/25/13. I set 3 eggs and they all turned out to be black and I got 3 frizzled and one smooth. I just have this one chick that i'm not keeping from this batch. I have no idea on the sex of any of these project chicks.

They all have black skin, feathered feet and 5 toes, A couple look as if they may turn out looking like polish but they will carry the frizzle gene so they could be used as a project of your own.

I don't have a price on the project chicks. If anybody is interested in them just make me an offer. I'll also trade them for poultry supplies or poultry related items or a golden feather membership to BYC. I will bring them with me to newnan and the owner can pick them up at my hotel.

My family and I will be going this year!!! I am showing a few standard Salmon Faverolles and my daughter will be showing a white crested black Polish pullet.

We are looking for....
- Porcelain Silkies
-Blue, Splash or Lav English Orps
- modern game

Please PM or email if you have any of these and i would love to make some arrangements before the show!

PMed you.

I can't decide whether to bring anything to sell or not. I'll bring some November and December hatch belgian bearded d'uccle chicks if anyone is interested. I have black mottle and a few mille fleur.

I'm planning on going to the Newnan show. New and just beginning my backyard flock. I'm hoping I've picked the right breeds to start with. I'm also hoping they have those chicks available at the show. The poultry source I have found so far that will let me order only females only 6 / 2 each breed can't deliver until mid June if the stars all line up. If any one has details the breeds I'm looking for are: white silkies (just sooooo cute and fluffy...hey I'm a girl :) ), buff ameraucanas & buff brahma Bantams (female chicks only). If anyone out there with more experience has a more knowledge than this newbie on my starting mix that would be great.

Going to be also bring laying hens( non sq) mixed mostly great layers most are younger then 1 year old. Selling them for my elder neighbor. Also mixed bantams.

There will be a lot of silkie people there. It is a very big show. I think it's the biggest show in the South East. Have fun...
