That woulda been a funny sight though to see it go flying over the fence.

He won't be the only one though...
Need to make sure he can't get in at all with them at night. I'd hate to think about what would have happened had you stopped to do something and had been a few minutes later

You really need to cover you pen completely with something sturdy so him and any others around can’t get to them. They have no defense at all and if no one is home during the day they will come around we’ve had them in during the day.

Haha so lastnight i whent outback just at dusk to put the birds away. There was a raccooon in the fence with the ducks!!

I ran inside and raccon ran partway up the fence where i honest to god Punted the racccoon up over the fence with my steel toed boots

Theres a coon in NS with a sore arse.

There's another one here in WV! In July my wife kicked one off the platform where we store the duck-food. That rascal wasn't interested in our ducklings at all, it was after the duck food, chewed open a bag and spilled half of it. Since then we haven't seen one again, word of that furious woman spread fast…

My birds have been alerting a lot lately, so I re-baited my traps. Caught a possum last night. I suspect I’ll have another one in the morning.

Sorry no good update today. Worked 14 hours again and had just enough day light left to put the birds away!

But nibbler is soo cute and shes almost as big as mary now. And her new feathers are coming fast!

Little missy is also getting big. Shes got a big fat fluffy bottom now

You dont realize how loud and creepy your breathing is untill you record something quiete!
