Her name is kiwi, she's a legbar x favaucana mix. She lays sage green. Her mother was born from a perfectly blue egg but she came out 95% salmon faverolles and lays pink!
I have very weird mutts!
None of my roosters were able to fertilize Kiwi in so unfortunately I can't select for her unique traits.

The large buff ones are Robusta Lionata which is a local breed closely related to Orpingtons. Everyone else is Easter Egger - mix of favaucana, araucana, legbar.![]()

Thank you. He is so sweet with Hattie. I think I told you all the story. He was on his on after his brother died. Last summer, I accidentally left his run door open a little and Hattie squeezed through and just moved in with him. He is so good and never rough with her.Elmer- oh my gosh, he’s precious!!!I wish I could pat his little head!
