very sad day for me today since he has left this world before my eyes and I felt sooooo helpless not been able to bring him back to health ......

i know, I know roosters are not much wanted but this one for me was as when I had my dog...

So sorry you lost your roo. I've been in your shoes, losing a very good rooster after trying to nurse him back from a broken leg only to have complications set in that eventually killed him. And yes, I completely understand how a rooster can be like a dog. They are very smart.

A friend, who is a fine oil painter, did a painting of my rooster and me. She finished it after he died. It's something very special for sure, and so was my rooster.
