Another super busy day for me... and I'm wiped-out! Actually may go to bed early tonight!

One of the more "fun" things I'm doing is experimenting with different waterers to see how the chickens like them and how each performs:

I just recently switched over to cups for mine because they hated the nipples but the water bowl was getting so dirty so fast. They did actually drink really well out of the nipples though but I just felt bad cause they were only getting like one drop at a time lol I haven’t really figured out if they like the cups or not yet. The water level doesn’t seem to be going down much but I do also still have a bowl in there for them and water bowls around the yard when they free range so that’s probably why. I might switch back to nipples and let them get the bigger gulps while out.

My chickens prefer a drinking bottle for rabbits and love to drink from an open bowl where they also can wash their feet in. They barely use the the one with chicken nipples.

I use a rabbit nipple like this for many years now. I replace the bottle if it gets green with a standard 500 ml water or coke bottle.

Must have for chickens who like to take a foot bath.

p.s. i never tried the cups as in the pic of @Nifty-Chicken.
