YAY i want to go!!!!!

im showing 16 birds- 2black cochin bantams, 1 houdan, 2 salmon faverolle bantams, 1 Welsummer, 1 Barnavelder, 1 OEGB, 1 Cuckoo D'Anver, 2 Muscovies, 2 Sebastopols, 3 sumatra bantams, and selling 9 sumatra bantams, 1 Ameracana, 7 sumatra LF, and 2 pairs of bantam faverolles!

It also says we are responsible to feed and water our own birds, I'm assuming that means the show provides shavings and cages? Does anyone know if we need to bring the feeders, or are there cups or something already in the cages?

I gather this is your first show? Awesome!

Yes, there is shavings and cages. I always bring my own water cups. The show provides the usual small plastic cups, but you know how those are - some are too high for the bantams, some of the bigger birds pull them down and make a mess, etc. Plus, the colorful cups help me locate my birds along the long aisles. I just throw their food on the floor to keep them occupied. But the exhibitor is responsible for maintaining the food and water for their own birds. Bring your own food, and there are numerous spigots around for water. If you have a small watering can, the ones with the long skinny spout, bring that, too. There are some in the hall, but they tend to wander.

Get your entries filled out this weekend so they are ready to mail on monday!! Due date is Wednesday!

FYI - The dinner price has been changed to $20. If you have already sent in your entry, the $5 will be collected at the show - haven't gotten the details as yet on that. We didn't find out about that until after the catalogs were done. Hope to see you there. Dress will be clean casual to dressy casual. It means go back to your room and change out of your litter and poop-covered clothes and shoes - thanks! Your reward is a cash bar at the hall.

Hey Roberta! Yes, it's me, Martha. I hope to see you at the show! Are you bringing Marans? My son is going to show our one and only BCM cockerel. We'll see how that goes, good experience for him.
The show entrance form says to attach test results to the entrance form...so I'm going to attach the ones I have.

The only Marans I have worth bringing are all girls. Fine with me, I am getting tired of anything that crows!
The cages are already set up, you need to walk the aisles to find where your breed is.
Go to the desk where the exhibitors list is. Grab a copy, and look for your name.
You are now known as "exhibitor #123"
Go find the cage with your number on it, and in he goes.
The number thing is just so the judges don't see names, to keep it fair.
It also is a blessing when you purchase raffle tickets.
Instead of writing out your Name/address/phone like 20 times... you just write #123 on all those tickets.
There is a clip on the cage that holds those little plastic water cups, you'll see how it works.
And many people just throw a handful of scratch on the floor... you don't want him to pig out.

Um not that many only 3 pairs of BT and 2 pairs of LF and then 1 blue male and 3 bantam males if y want any message me ASAP!! I will give a 4 H discount

Okay so I am interested in getting the Sumatra's, i am not 100% sure if i want the Large Fowl or Bantams yet.. Did you happen to go to the stars and Stripes livestock show in New Jersey?

yes i did i thought it might be u i recommend the bantams they r really nice and i have extra roosters if u want 2 lol tell me what u want and i will put the best aside from u!!!

I will not be able to take more than 2 roosters at the most So you have a total of how many bantam hens for sale???
