NJ - Sussex County Poultry Fanciers Annual Spring Show!!

I'm a newbie here, just wondering what goes on at this show? are there any vendors, etc.?

One large buidling has all the show birds that are getting judged - A LOT of them - THe other building has the sale cages - those are rented cages people sell their birds, rabbits, geese, ducks, etc. and also the vendors and raffle area and food concession - vendors are USUALLY First State Vet Supply, Egg Cartons.com, and Kuhl. Usually, not sure if they will be there this time. It's a good time to buy supplies and not have to pay shipping.

Hi Marilyn - I'll try and find out. - Mary

Mary, I'd like to know how you started with entering only one dirty bird and are now up to having 10 entered?

Hhm...don't remember saying that! Though I may have thought it! The logistics of trying to wash, wrap, stash, blow-dry, and keep warm eight LF and two bantams is a bit overwhelming! Gotta have everything set-up ahead of time, because once you start, you can't stop! This will take me hours! I wish I had one of those Dog Salon blow dryers that you stick in front of the cage and it blows warm air. Oh, and about four extra pairs of hands, and about 36 hours in a day, would be good, too. (Sigh)

I just ordered a BYC Tshirt to wear that day- do you all wear Tshirts or hats or some way so we can all find and ID each other as BYC crazies (uh... I mean members?) I'm excited to go and see everything- I'll be a 1st timer can you tell? I so hope someone brings Mandies and Woodies though...

WOOHOO!
