I am super happy to hear there is someone else thinking like this. I'll help. So far I'm only busy 4/30-5/2, other than that I think I have another trip as well, but I think it's not planned yet. It may be in May.... not too sure. I know Del Valle is a great place for camping and for day hiking and you can rent boats and play on the reservoir... that's my only input. I am easy and like it when someone else picks. Just let me know what I can do to help. I can make calls, arrange for port-a-potties.... what ever. And as long as it's not like a million miles away I'm in for going.

Where is Auburn?
I'd rather it not be Memorial weekend.
I think my last day of work is around June 7th. Whatever that Friday is, too lazy to go look at calendar right now.

Hi Boo! Auburn is about 30 miles NE of Sacramento, on I-80. It's an hour and a half for me, so it would be 3 1/2 hours for you. Ouch! Well, we aren't firmly set on anyplace yet. We need to consider everyone who wants to come.

I'm in - Lake Del Valle sounds good to me, a little more central for the south bay people as well. Maybe we should get an idea of where everyone is, then plot it on a map and see what is the central area.
