This little guy turned out to be a cockerel. I should have been able to to tell by the obvious streamers, but he was soooo cute.. still is, but now he is more handsome. So far, he is super sweet, but scared to death of all the other chickens. except the little silkie chick I got him for. They are bestest friends (thankfully, she is a pullet).

LOL!!! I think that we are meeting at noon on Saturday at the food! It sounds like a lot of us are going to be in the sales barn early in the AM on Saturday. I'm just going to be looking not buying

My DH was coming with us to keep an eye on me!

But my daughter-in-law had an uncle pass away so we will be watching our grandkids that day while she goes to the funeral and our son works. Since we are short of space in the car, DH has volunteered to stay home. I personally think that he is relieved to not have to keep an eye on the kids (grandkids ages 4 & 6 plus daughter age 9) while I am drooling over all the beautiful birds. I am hoping to be in the sales barn sometime between 8 and 9 but I know that other BYC'ers plan on being there at 7 when they open. I will probably be wearing my black Barbara on the fence tee.

This show is going to be amazing, it'll be so fun to see BYCers in person again and spend some time doing what we do best... Talking about chickens and surrounding ourselves with them!

I wish everyone who will be in the sales barn with no intent to buy luck.

I'm trying to limit myself to less than four chickens and less than four ducks and that will be hard enough as it is!
