Hubby and I just moved to Sacramento, and unfortunately the Chicks and goose and quail all had to find new homes, but at least they all went to a friend of mine, so I can see pics as they grow. We just started a new and better job, so life is crazy right now, but wonderful at the same time. Now our salary is doubled, our house is doubled, and we have full benefits! So life is good, just very very busy right now.

Congratulations on all the fantastic things happening in your lives right now!!! Here's hoping that you'll find a little space in your yard just right for a new coop! (I'm not trying to enable you or anything...)

Kelsey, great pics! Somehow, we never take enough.

I just got home from vacation, and had my dad confirm that I still have two roos. not only are they chest bumping, but they are crowing.

turns out that both the baby that was in question WAS a roo, and the pullet I bought from Sunny is also a roo. Darn. It's roo madness here.

Pamela, I'm not sure when the next chickenstock is going to be, but we'll be glad to have you! I did see a thread on a meetup at the Sacto State Fair (I think). That might be the next northern CA meetup.
