No eggs for 3 months

Also ACV and Crushed garlic cloves to their water.

when providing additives in water, there should always be plain water offered too. Some people only provide additive water once per week or so, but should still provide plain water.

do not use metal waterers with additives, especially acidic additives like ACV. Use plastic waterers.

yes, water is a key component to egg laying, so if non layer is not drinking enough, it could certainly impact laying. Make sure water is cool and fresh, and in the shade as chickens don’t want warm or hot water. Put out more than 1 water and feed station in case of any bullying that is keeping her away from food and water.
Heat can impact them too. Best defense is deep shade access and cool water ...even a pan with an ice block they can stand on and drink the melt water helps a lot.

my flock has had reduced egg output, but between myself and two neighbors, we’ve caught 8 raccoons over 5 days. My neighbor’s flock was wiped out by raccoons about 6 days ago. So, they have been under predator stress.

I have a Cream Legbar that is 14 months old. She laid until about 2 months ago, and she is not broody and is not molting. Her comb is pale pink, but I’m not sure why she stopped laying. She did have an eye infection, or maybe it was another type of infection exhibiting as an eye issue, but that was a few months ago and she laid during the eye issue phase. So, I’m not sure why my CL isn’t laying.

I have been in this situation. What I do is add DE to their food in case of parasites . Also ACV and Crushed garlic cloves to their water. Even though the food is ok for all the other chickens this chicken might need a higher protein food. She could be intimidated from bullies in the flock. You might have to make sure she is getting her fair share of food and water. Especially water, water is a big part of egg production.

I've been giving ACV for the last 3 weeks. I will check on DE. I have only two chickens and both go well when it comes to food or water.

This morning, I saw a soft shelled egg. I am not sure if it is from my other chicken or this one. I will monitor and update here.

thanks

Thank you.. this is really good info.
I do have 2x water dispensers and both plastic. One with ACV. They do have good shade as well - upstairs is coop & down below is the run area.

Do you free range?
Is her comb good and red?
Do you have other birds that are laying well?
What all and how exactly are you feeding?

Free range - yes, they roam around my backyard when I am home.
Comb - not really red, but looks about the same as always.
Other birds - yes, one more. laying perfect eggs 5x a week.
Feed - Occasional treats + layer feed in home made auto dispenser (using the same for the last 3 years with no issues)

She might have a secret nest?
Might time for an exam:

Then maybe:
Free range birds sometimes need to be 'trained'(or re-trained) to lay in the coop nests, especially new layers. Leaving them locked in the coop for a week or so can help 'home' them to lay in the coop nests. Fake eggs/golf balls in the nests can help 'show' them were to lay. They can be confined to coop and maybe run 24/7 for a few days to a week, provided you have adequate space and ventilation, or confine them at least until mid to late afternoon. You help them create a new habit and they will usually stick with it. ..at least for a good while, then repeat as necessary.

No change in status. I guess she is really done laying!

Thanks all.
