I have had my girls for about a month now. They were laying when I first got them, but after a week of laying they stopped. They are molting right now but that is the only thing different. They have the same feed, I bought it from the lady I got them from, as she has it specially milled for her farm. They are up at night and until about noon, then they are allowed run of the yard till about 4 and then back to their coop, they go back in on their own.
Any suggestions as to why they are not laying and how to encourage them to start back up. They are Aracanas, a black Australorp, and red chicken with with in her neck feathers, wing and tail tips. No clue what she is but she lays rose colored eggs.
I have had batams before and they layed all the time, all winter long with no problems. I am kinda stumped with my big girls. Thanks in advance.
