I have 2 year old Golden Comets, cross between Rhode Island Red and I think Plymouth Rock chickens. They were great layers until late last fall. They all molted in January and since then I have been getting an egg about every 4-5 days. In the last two weeks there have been no eggs.

I live in Wisconsin and the spring has been unusually cool. During the winter months they had a light bulb on most of the time. Since April 12th we had to move them to their summer dog kennel because the new baby chicks arrived and needed the coop.

help, any ideas??

Hi and

Do you suppose the move upset them and they're taking a while to get back into the swing of things?

Always nice to meet new members!
It may take them a little while to adjust; moves can be stressful. all you can do is try to be patient...

Welcome to the chicken addiction.

Any sign that they are eating the eggs or have hidden nests?
