Normally you would only want to put a hole in the air cell. Is it possible the air cell shifted? It may be farther down the egg now. It does move as the gosling gets into position for hatching.

I wish I could help more but without a picture I can't really see what's going on :(

There's a tiny air sac at the blunt end yesterday it was huge. You can't see anything now it's all black except that tiny air sac and some movement. Can't hold the Candler and take a picture you can see.

In that case you might want to put a small safety hole in what remains of the air cell to be safe. Then try to see what's going on in there. If possible can you set the egg and the candler down on something and take a picture that way? Or perhaps have someone else take the picture?

I took this picture by setting the egg and flashlight down to get it, could you get something like this?

Ok I've tried to take pictures. I hope they will go through. I actually felt it kick when I went to take the picture. Let me know if they go through.

Just wondering if you got and can see the pictures

I got them! Sorry, I was dealing with a plumber, lol. It does look like the gosling has moved and is taking up most of the air cell, which could be trouble. You can try making a small safety hole if you'd like, or you can wait and see if anything happens. If you do the safety hole just be really careful and try to put it in what's left of the air cell.

Me again. So I just poke a hole in the shell. The air sac seems a bit bigger. The hole is about half the size of a eraser on the end of a pencil. Can't see anything. How far in do I go.
