Noise,Friendly or not?

My other hens never made this noise when we got new chicks. The chicks don’t seem afraid of her just curious if anyone has seen/hear this before, any ideas on the meaning?

Not so friendly.

When you start integration, just monitor and see how they do. She may just give them a quick peck here and there or she may try cornering them.
Do be sure the chicks have a place they can hide and/or get up and out of the way from the adults. Perches in the run can be helpful.

Also having plenty of space is a must.

Perfect Thanks!!!! It’s good to know. Iv got lots of extra clutter/junk rearrange and extra feed/waters to spread around/hidden once we get that far.
