Non-chicken related Ebay rant, vent, frustration!!

I was being facetious about the 10,000 post thing, LOL

I was indicating the guy was too dumb to figure out he wouldn't get anything but fees returned.

Even if he wasn't trying to scam the planet, he goobered up the mutual canceled transaction thing and made her look bad.

Maybe some chicken people live near this guy and we can take a baseball bat and set him straight.....

This is what the seller did when I had something that didn't work. I emailed them and told them I wanted a refund and they said to send the item back. After they got it they issued a refund and then ebay sent me a email asking me if I had agreed to return the item and ask for a refund. All I did was answer them back with a yes. Then all was taken care of it was easy and they were so nice about it. Sorry you had a bad seller to deal with.

They started out very nice. I bought three clarinets, when they arrived two had keys that popped out every time you tried to play a low bflat, I took them to a music store and they said they would have to be replaced with a better style, that these were very low quality. I knew they were when I got them, but for practice purposes for teens I wasn't going to squabble. The jazz clarinet I got for myself had a chipped mouthpiece, well ok, I have a better one. But the third time I put it together one of the braces broke. I emailed them and they replied right away to return them for a full refund. I did that. The received them back June 18, refunded my money June 19, and filed for non-payment against June 20.
Ebay never contaced me to ask if I had returned them for a refund, it's noted under MyEbay Summary that my money was refunded.
The seller said they just want their fees back from Ebay, not me. I told them they filed against me, please drop it. I got this reply:

Sorry....... sigh......

I've gotten that reply to every contact I've tried to make.
I tried to file a counter claim and was told by Ebay I can't because they filed first, all I can do is wait for it to turn into a non-payment strike and then ask for it to be removed. The person in live chat help even said they saw the money had been paid, then refunded, but I still have no recourse if they won't drop it. They won't give a contact phone number either and I couldn't get one from information.

WriterofWords,

I'm sorry you have this headache right now. Hang in there.

There is only one way this can play out. The dufus will get his refund and you'll get the strike against you removed. It may take a few weeks. Then, a week after that, this will will have been nothing more than an annoyance you had to deal with a while back.

Not that I am any good at allowing life's "little" frustrations to resolve themselves in good time, but I am sure that is very sage advice.

Thanks for the encouragement I appreciate it. I've let this bother me more than I ever have anything. I've always been so careful to pay everything right up front when I buy online anywhere. To have someone accuse me of being dishonest just kills me!

Boy are they mad at me! I finally got around being unable to file a counter claim by saying I paid by "other" rather than Paypal. This way Ebay couldn't redirect me to Paypal, I actually called Paypal and talked to them and even though they can't do anything because the money was refunded through them, they did suggest doing that.
So I filed an item not as decribed claim and said they were like Wal Mart toys and even put in there they had refunded my money. So they replied to by saying they REFUNDED MY MONEY! So I told them in my dispute that if they clicked the "resolved cancel dispute" on the one against me, I'd cancel the one against them.
They said it wasn't fair because they refunded my money,, so I replied: Sucks doesn't it?
