Hey everybody,

I am here to say that I am not by any means a professional Ornithologist/birder/photographer. Mostly I do it for fun and normally I do it because I enjoy it.
Photography is a large hobby of mine. Almost everyday I'm out there by the one tree in particular that birds flock around taking pictures.

Now that it's getting colder you'll see the Canadian geese forming their migratory patterns and flying in the shape of a V. This is one of the best times to get birding!
The Chickadees are gathering their sunflower seeds for food for the winter, the Titmice are flying around looking for nesting areas, and the Nuthatches, my favorite, gently tapping away at the trees for bugs upon them.
This is God's painting right in front of your very own eyes... We may not speak "bird" or understand "bird." But they have a language. One of their own that only a true person could see.

I hope to have a field in photography or Ornithology one day. On a day when I am feeling down or something has thrown me off... I look at a bird and I realize what they go through on a day-to-day basis. They fly through the roughest weather with this tiny little body and miniature set of eyes. That's pure amazing and astonishing in my mind.
I have something to wake-up to knowing... That's God's given us these beautiful creatures. To me, they're worth more than a diamond could ever be. To me, they are precious.

I may not be a professional, but in my heart, these birds are worth working for.

I hope you enjoy the photos I have shared. This is a nature thread dedicated to any folks of whom enjoy birding or nature itself. I will share more photos as time goes on, in fact, these are not the Chipmunk ones I got today. I will share them in a little while. Your turn to talk about nature and please consdier, sharing photos. Good evening and God bless! Speak soon.

Sincerely,
-The Angry Hen

Hello again,

Now I have a few photos of "Chip" the Chipmunk that visits out property each day. He is still pretty timid but will visit pretty close. What beautiful little animals.

One more Chickadee photograph for now:

And these are not animal photos, but I figured I'd share some nature-from-Maine-photos. This is the newest Dreseden bridge that was recently built. The reflection was amazing yesterday.

These photos were taken with a Nikon Coolpix B700 of which I had recently invested in. This camera has an amazing zoom. I zoomed into a plane today and I could read the airline name. Wonderful.

Sincerely,

P.S.

A thanks goes to @azurbanclucker for giving me tips when I was contemplating buying a camera. Once gathering these tips, I bought the B700 which I have no regrets investing in.
Another thanks goes to @Bills vs Beaks for tips on focusing and tips on in-action photos. It was appreciated greatly. Thank you, guys!

Yes Hen, it looks down over the Pigg River.View attachment 1201659

Oh, so pretty! I bet when it has ice on it that it is gorgeous! It's nice to have water by the house. We have a pond, but I like any water nearby. When we go far into the woods, our neighbor owns a property right by the Kennebec river. In fact close enough that you could build a dock.
Hopefully if we had enough money one day we can figure out how to invest in it and buy it from the neighbor. It's such a beautiful view! :)

Sincerely,

It's a bird! It's a plane!

What a great photo! It's fun to get pictures of planes. Speaking of which... I was outside today and decided when I saw a plane to take advantage of the 60x zoom. I took a photo and I am able to read the plane's airline company!! Technology is astonishing.

The airline company is Emirates of whom is based in Arab. It is quite fascinating.
