None of my eggs hatched *update on page 4*

DuckieBoys, I have been wondering about the carton method for geese eggs as well. I know everything says to lay them on their sides, but I have some that have very "loosy goosey" air cells (they were shipped), and I have been considering propping them up. . .I can't find anyone on here that has tried it. . .maybe I will have to be the first. . .
I have a homemade bator, so my light source is below and to the side of the eggs, so propping them up won't effect the temp.

I think that hatching in a carton is your best bet. Let them rest upright for a day, incubate the first 2 or 3 days without turning. Then only turn by tilting the carton, or by tilting the whole 'bator instead, like the OP did. Prop up one side about 2 inches, leave a few hours, put that side down, prop up the opposite side. That way they get enough movement not to stick to the shell, but not enough to move the air cell more than a little bit, so it won't end up way off where it doesn't belong.
