That’s what I was thinking antibiotics? But seems if it is infection she wouldn’t be eating and doing other normal things. @casportpony

So possible it’s not an infection? She’s eating and drinking just as much if not more than my chicks

yeah now I’m starting to get furious, that’s absurd. My only scale is a smart scale and only weighs human feet ugh

Careful with the "justanswer.com avian vet" I consulted with a vet there for my duck and yes, my duck is still alive, but she wasn't getting enough antibiotic to help her get over this infection. I'm not saying anything negative about the sweet lady that helped me, but I'm sure it's really easy to make a dosage mistake or any kind of mistake when they are not there in real life. Thankfully a couple of amazing ladies here on BYC have helped me get in the right direction, with proper dosages, and my precious duck is doing so much better in such a short time. It's been going on for over 2 weeks. I am so grateful that she didn't get septic but the poor duck is ready to get back to being a duck instead of forever patient. So please just be careful and double check with folks here. You already have my 2 duck life savers here!

Weigh yourself, then weigh yourself hold her. The difference is her weight.

Any chance you have a kitchen scale? That's what I use for all of mine, until they reach more than 10lbs
