Was it an avian vet that saw her? And did they do an xray?Vet said it’s some sort of hard mass in her lower abdomen and that there was nothing they can do but euthanize. They didn’t know what it was but said she won’t make it. I took her home and praying to god for a miracle. I couldn’t let them put her down. I just couldn’t. She’s eating drinking pooping has energy wants to snuggle and everything. I believe do believe in miracles. Strangely her breathing has gotten a little better.
I’m going to go feel if it’s on left side, it’s hard but not bulging or round more so flat, don’t know if it was an avian vet, I never asked just went straight to the first vet that would take her as soon as their doors opened.I ask about it being an avian vet because if it was not an avian vet they might not know that all birds have a mass in their abdomen and it's normal. The gizzard is located in the abdomen on the bird's left side. On young chickens, ducklings, goslings, etc, it feels huge.
