Normal gosling behavior?

I brought one of mine to the vet on Saturday and also had to stay in the car, it's uncomfortable even when you're not dealing such a serious problem, so I can only imagine when you are :(

My goose had an x-ray done at slightly less than 2 weeks of age by a respected avian vet so I don't think her age alone should be a problem. I guess they would have to hold her belly to the x-ray machine but can't imagine it would cause a problem? I guess if they think there's nothing they can do either way... but how can they say that if they don't even know what it is? Were they an avian vet?

I had an awful experience with an extremely negligent vet before that ended in tragedy when it shouldn't have. I don't know that they are but just want to put it out there that not all vets should be trusted. Also, many people would not have gone as far as you as there is a big disconnect when it comes to poultry type animals, so they don't expect you to be willing to go very far for her care.

Maybe some vitamins in her water would be a good idea to help give her a boost? I use Durvet and Save-a-Chick. Maybe some probiotics too?

If it is omphalitis, wouldn't antibiotics be worth a shot?
Waiting on call back from vet to get antibiotics, crushed garlic in her water along with Durvet electrolytes and vitamins. I agree you can’t trust everyone, I am always skeptical.

Here is where the gizzard is located.
