Hey, did anyone catch the news story about revamping the laws in Wake County about keeping livestock? I heard about the intro of it, and that they were considering changing the laws to ban livestock in the city limits!

I didn't see it but I would not be surpised at any thing Wake Co. does. If the people building and living in the McMansions were to smell chicken poo well there would go the neighborhood.

People like that fry my taters, I'm glad I live outside of Lee Co's city limits.

I'm pretty up on the news in Raleigh and haven't heard anything about this. The fact is, "livestock" is already banned inside Raleigh city limits. However, the ordinance does not consider chickens to be livestock. Potbellied pigs are.

Looks like most everyone is a good distance from me. Im located in Clay County (10mi east of Hayesville) just off Old Hwy 64

My gosh, the weather has been glorious the last few days! It was 73 here yesterday. The chickens love it!
