I have about 6 Serama's for sale. These are the ones that I am removing from my flock because of conformation faults or other small things that I dont want to keep in my breeder lines. They are between the ages of 8 weeks and two years old. I have two roosters, one breeding age and one crowing cockrel and at least four hens maybe five. hens age range from 8 weeks to two years. Adult Roo in pic below. The other roo is buff and black has been crowing for about a month. Hens are buff and black, black copper, and maybe a white and black. $10 each for the juveniles and $15 each for the adults. I wont sell all the hens and no roos. Its best for me if they are sold in small groups or all together.

Happy late bday Luke and yes one roo and one looking like a pullet does the pullet also have a single comb?? if so the likely-hood of her laying a colored egg is not good same with the roo with his single comb he probably doesn't carry the colored egg gene to pass to offspring but I love the way they look

Thanks!!! not real sure on the single comb, hers hasn't come in at all, their mom was pure white and laid greenish blue eggs, and the dad all white. They were hatched on Thanksgiving day from my broody hen. I'm just not a fan of white birds, we call 'em "hawk bait". When I don't have any white birds I don't see hawks but when I do I see at least 2 a day.

Yep, white birds are hawk bait here, too. The splash don't seem to be, thankfully.

I ordered the rest of my chicks last night. I think I'm done ordering and swapping for now. I have chicks and eggs coming from every breed I want, plus a couple! Although I know I might get suckered into something cool, I'm going to try to hold what I've got coming and see how things grow out. The last of my promised eggs should be here no later than July. That puts me NPIP testing in November maybe. Maybe earlier. We'll see how it times out,

Lots and lots of chickies! Gotta love the cute little guys.

:lau  I think all the stress is going away with finally getting everyone moved out of my house. I guess you could say the house is slowly becoming a home! Everyone is "supposed" to be out Feb 1st. We started pulling up some carpet (they told us the entire house is hardwood floors) and to my surprise it is in very good condition. It looks a million times better than the the 1960's harvest gold carpet that was there. alot more work to do to get the baby room set up but it's coming along!

redoin houses oh lord! been there done that!

It's been way easier than I expected (thus far). The only thing I'm really worried about is the bathroom. I think by the tub there might be some rotten wood but we'll see that when we get to it.
On a chicken not the black/lav splits from beth are getting gigantic, but I'm about 90% sure it's 3 roos and 1 hen =( I guess I'll have some freezer camp birds.

oooohhhhh liver and eggs

or liver and onions with some mushrooms oohh man I'm making myself hungry!
Haha...I knew someone would suggest liver & onions...sadly there can be none of that in this house (I am allergic to onions)...thus I was trying to get some tried and true ideas. I do make liver & eggs for the babies (never dared to try it myself...haha...I'm "chicken"). A Jewish friend of mine suggested Liver Pate - although I have NO idea what that is!!

I was afraid of just looking up any old recipe, but I guess it can't hurt. I will be trying a "sneaky" idea - a friend suggested frying it up with your hamburger and adding it into your spaghetti as an extra boost (or using it as the sole "meat" for the spaghetti). So at least I have a few good ideas!! I am hoping there aren't too many, because I honestly don't know if I will be able to cook them...I get queazy easy these days (stupid hormones!!). The next time I make liver & eggs, I'll save you a plate RF!!

Now...off to make "pizza" for supper (hehe...don't tell the husband that it's actually HEALTHY pizza...attempting to make a cauliflower crusted raw cheese & veggie pizza)!! Hmm...I might actually eat for once tonight!! LOL
