I will not be at WCA this weekend, I am sorry. It just never seems to work with nap schedules and all that we have going on on Sundays. I am so sorry and I do wish ALL the birthday ladies (I remember BHep & Wild - I think) a happy birthday!! I hope you have beautiful weather so the time is extra enjoyable!!

No chicken/duck news here...picked up our first batch of FIVE eggs yesterday...that's about it!! So I hope everyone has a great Wednesday!!

Morning all!

Not looking forward to the predicted colder weather coming this weekend. Time to make some chili or soup!

Trying to get the inside of my coop finished. Anyone give me suggestions on how wide a poop board should be? Also, I guess it should have edges on both sides to hold the sweet PDZ right?

Wicked Chicken Auction and I really want to go on Sunday, but I'm still fighting a stomach bug that hit me on Saturday along with an allergic reaction to Imodium AD that I took to help with the stomach bug issues.

I'm miserable.


On another note: we now have 6 ducklings and two more are pipped and starting to zip. I think that they'll be the last two to hatch. There is one in there that looked like it was getting ready to pip, but then all movement stopped.

I was going to try to come to WCA this weekend (finally) but can't - I am keeping my brother's three kids for the weekend. I would bring them, I know they would love it, but will save that for a warmer weekend. Y'all have fun!
