I know there are some from Fayettetville.

Are you looking for more chicks ?

There is a flock swap in Sanford on Sats. check out Fayetteville craigslist for date and time. I heard there are a lot of chicks for sale there. I went once when it first started and was not impressed, but I have heard it has become quite successful.

There are two different swaps in Sanford. One is held at TSC and the other is held at Carolina Town and Country Feed. The one at Town and Country seems to have more sellers and more variety of animals.

Getting more chicks would just be a plus

There eggs were personally delivered and I know that they are 100% SS so not sure where the white comes in?? Talked to him this morning and he said in the many he has hatched he has never gotten a white. It will be interesting to see what this chick turns into. Here we go again!!

**Well, we figured out the mystery chick... someone put a Salmon Faverolle egg in the carton.

Those pics are so precious Beth, and congrats to you HT on the great hatch. so far my little hen is still out there sitting, as soon as one of my bantams lays I will put another egg under her and see if she wants to sit another 21 days. She has the pop door open so she can get up and leave anytime she wants too. And has this ever happened to either one of you? this morning the chicks couldn't tell who was who they were all hatched last sat. and Sunday anyway one mommie now has 3 chicks and the other mom only 1 do you think they'll get it sorted out by them selves? my dh who knows less than me about broodys say they will. I really don't know, but next year before this happens I will have leg bands and write down who is who so I can keep up with this better.

Good afternoon all, love all the pics and the new folks arriving on the site!!!

Well, I'm officially having "time-out" from incubating, will probably restart at end of year, get some consistency with the chicks and hens we have and then go from there.... The Sheba chicks are doing well, just wanting the indoor silkies to feather our more so I can integrate them in to the Silkie flock..........
