Yes! Reilly actually played with the kids that visited today! They were petting Levi, and Levi seemed to be enjoying it, so he joined them! Remember how he's always been more shy of kids? Levi will teach him!Love the picture Hollow, gonna have to get the kiddos over for a play date![]()

Why, don't you want them to teach Levi to play in puddles????Yes! Reilly actually played with the kids that visited today! They were petting Levi, and Levi seemed to be enjoying it, so he joined them! Remember how he's always been more shy of kids? Levi will teach him!
We'll need to find a good date. NOT a rainy one!
Quote:Scottcaddy, did you get chased down by a cow or something?![]()
YES, before I learned how to deal with a large and I'm in Charge BOSS cow! It was something to see
to hear my Granddad tell the story, he thought it was way funnier than I did
at the time. Now I can see the humor, and the need to do what he did.![]()
Scott
Yeah Scott, I remember being trapped between a cow and the wall when she decided to lean on me when I was milking her! I also remember being barefoot and having one of them step on my foot, high up on the arch, and then sllloooowwwwly pivot on that foot. I think she was pivoting to get away from the screaming noise in her ear.....
Still, I love cows. But they are a lot of mess and a lot of work. I wouldn't recommend them as a starting milk animal for someone new to homesteading. They're more something to grow into. My opinion, of course, and YMMV.Quote:
No, not me, but one of my uncles when he was milking the cows as a youngester. Grandpa always told that story when somebody would ***** about a nasty tail getting them in /on the face.
Ya-had to love Grandpa and his stories![]()
