That sounds SO cool!! When our girls get older we are hoping to be able to do a full passover meal (although I still have a LOT of research to do!!) and teach them about the
Exodus! We too had a hard time finding GOOD topsoil and ended up going with a company in Raleigh...NOT happy with them at all as I was told we were getting "premium" organic soil - since when does organic soil have glass, beer & soda cans and plastic in it?? Talk about highway robbery!!
We have a funny rooster (now named Houdini) who has escaped every night from his enclosure!! This morning we find her "perched" atop the run (how he got up there I have NO idea) crowing to his heart's content!!
I guess he's trying to convince us that he is meant for more than just freezer camp?!?
Side note: for those of you who have been praying for us. We spent all day yesterday at Duke's Children's Hospital with our youngest and after seeing 3 specialists the overall conclusion was that she is a PERFECTLY TYPICAL baby and unless her current "symptoms" worsen or fail to improve, they do not want to see her back again! Aside from being exhausted, I am utterly relieved and I am looking forward to a good nights rest (whatever that IS these days...LOL)!! Thank you all for your support during these past 7 months of waiting & not knowing!!
