I've had this happen before. Most insurance will 'total' if the repair estimates are higher that the vehicle book value. They probably offer a buy back, If you can get it repaired cheaper, you could use that option.

Well, the lady at the repair shop said the insurance companies do this when the repair costs comes up to 75% of the value of the car.

A few years back our Camaro was hit and the insurance adjuster said the costs of repair exceeded the value so it was totaled. They offered it back to us at a super low price so we bought it back and did the repairs ourselves and drove it for 4-5 more years. If the frame isn't damaged it is relatively easy to buy panels and parts and put it back together. I don't know the extent of the damage, I imagine from the description pretty bad. Guess it all depends on if the damage was external or if it was frame...if any of that makes any sense...

Hey everyone, long time, no posts! Been busy with new job, and commuting home when off work. My chickens are 8mos old, and hardly laying for last two weeks. Lots of feathers laying around, could they be molting?
And here is a pic of one of my quilt projects.

Love the quilt!

Eggs to hatcher...two Gold-laced Orpingtons, four Chocolate Orpingtons, two Isbars, and two Golden Cuckoo Marans. Please send all possible good vibes this way!

Thanks guys!!!

And good to know RF because 6 true araucana eggs are going for like $50 on ebay right now (not that I have the money right now to order them now anyway)
Dutchbunny, I was on craigslist today and saw where there are 11 true rumpless araucana chicks for sale at $5 a chick or $45 for all 11 on the Columbia SC craigslist. (I have family there so I look every once in a while for them)...I also have family in the military in Fayetteville who make the trip to Columbia and know it is not too too far?? Just an FYI...
