Question: For those who sometimes sell eggs....
The average for a dozen fresh chicken eggs when seller provides a carton seems to be about $2.50
What about quail eggs & duck eggs???
I've only seen one person selling duck eggs & it was $5, never seen anyone with quail. Not that we get enough to sell them, but if someone wanted them I was curious what the average price for them seemed to be?
Thanks! Hope everyone is enjoying this warm weather! SO much to get done in my house, but I can't help but be outside!![]()
I sell my chicken eggs for $5 per dozen or $2.50 for a half dozen so I may not be the best example for you. My ducks aren't laying yet but I can see myself selling them for $5 per dozen mixed in with my other eggs or a full dozen by themselves. But if demand was good enough.. I'd probably raise the price to $6, since they are superior eggs over chickens.

I would sell quail eggs cheaper than chicken eggs. Maybe $2.00 for a dozen, but I don't have quail yet so we'll see!
