Yes, the same here. Sooooooooo many broodies this yr. and so hard to break. Usually just a day or two of isolation and no nest and they will quit but not this yr. Sometimes it takes over a wk. They have been determined and are still going broody.Good morning folks![]()
It's been an odd year of sorts so far. The turkeys didn't start laying
until later spring and are still laying. The roosters have become a
hit-and-miss deal with the hens so fertility has dropped and although
there are a few feathers out and about they are not molting like they
have in years past. We also had more hens go broody than we ever
have before..........odd year.![]()
