I have run into a problem! One of my BO's went broody earlier this year and we broke her fairly quickly.....she is now back in the box and broodier than ever! The problem is that I have no fertile eggs for her to sit on =( any ideas? or anybody have any eggs they would sell? Thing is I'm not even sure if she will continue to sit so I don't want to spend alot. HELP!!!!

LUKE- you could just let her sit for 3 weeks on dud eggs and one night slip a couple chicks under her, this way she can sit, but if she breaks early you don't lose any possible chicks developing. And if sh turns out to be a devoted broody then you get to have her raise some chicks! Good luck!

I never woulda thunk!!!!! That does sound better.......next question would be, is it fine to leave her in the regular nesting box for now? it's the one the majority of the other hens use so they go sit on top of her. should I move her into the other box or leave her until I put chicks under her?
