Ok we will be coming Thank you!

I have been going through the thread to see what we should bring with regards to food. Any suggestions or request for food item/items you would like us to bring?

As for chickens I am hatching the eggs as I had stated before. Once the little guys hatch out I will start posting some pictures maybe someone will be interested in trading or purchasing a couple chicks.

As for what we would be interested in finding would be 1 or 2 Silkie hens does not need to be a showgirl. I am sorry to say we had a couple come by last year we traded white silkies for some Polish hens and couple White Crested Black Polish cockerels. Some how they ended up taking two Silkie hens we wanted to keep. Our little Dumplings are gone and we would like replacements.

I have been trying to find some Appenzeller Spitzhauben, Brabanters, Hungarian Yellow or Vorwerk. If anyone knows where to find or can bring to Chickenstock please tell me.

JP: If you find anyone with Hungarian Yellows, let me know too! Last year I found someone in Nova Scotia with a flock, but you can't easily ship from Canada. I have always wanted Magyar csirke!

Ah, MAGYAR!

Should I bring some Cserkesz or Gyulai Kolbasz to the Chickenstock? I am seriously considering starting to make our own; all the Hentesz are gone in my area. I have no interest driving to New Brunswick for sausage.

If anyone will like I can bring smoked Hungarian Sausage to the meet, very good with wine and cheese or Palinka for the real Magyars.

Chickie Mamma,

I would love to see your Silkies maybe I can find a mate for our cockerel.

Steph, I'm so sorry! What a horrible way to start your day! Is the mom ok?

Everything will be great, just like last year!

And Darbella, you best bring some of those chicken pins, and maybe one of the rooster ones, too! Um, actually, DEFINITELY bring a rooster one, but I need to pick out just the right chicken one - do you have a selection, or are they made to order?

Sorry, I wasn't rushing, it was meant more of a question, I'm new to all of this and was trying to read through all of the back posts and there are so many. It makes it confusing, LOL. I would love to attend with my daughter. What are the usual hours that you guys do this(Start time to end time) My daughter and I have a rabbit show that day but could probably stop on the way home, if you guys are still going to be there. I understand being busy as well, I work 2 jobs, and have 2 girls that are in various activities.

I read in one of your posts that you were looking for Ameraucana hens. When I was buying feed this past Saturday at the Northampton Farm Bureau, I noticed an ad for that breed on their bulletin board. Think the price was $40 for a pair. Call the Farm Bureau in Tatamy at 610-258-2871 and ask them to look on the bulletin board behind the cash register for the info. I think Tatamy is less than an hour from you. Hope this helps.
