I got my replacement Serama eggs and set them last night. Here's hoping we get at least one bird out of the hatch.

I had 2 mom hens on these eggs.

one of the hens ate 2 dark eggs and peck marked one. 3 eggs were not fertile. all 6 remaining eggs went under the good mom.

I could only get a couple of pics of 2 chicks. This is the brown headed one.
Any guesses on sex or breed?

7 chicks so far! Two have not hatched... And she got off them and hasnt been back on them for over an hour so im assuming they arent any good.
But we ar thrilled over 7, more than i expected!
Already out and eating and scratching around today!

can anyone tell me what breed my rooster is? I placed on "What breed am i" thread, but no answers yet. can anyone take a guess?
i was told he is a mix and may have bantam. He is not bantam size, he is larger, he is hot large like my Australorp, his legs are alittle shorter. he is 2-3 yrs old.
