Anyone know the regulations and codes regarding chickens in Newport, WA, in town?
Allowed roosters?
Allowed a certain number?

Anyone know the same information for Oldtown, ID?

Thanks in advance

I looked up the codes involved. Newport has no limitations, just no swine and goats, period. And no more than 25 rabbits. Everything else was about keeping up things and making sure it stays clean. Oldtown doesn't have anything listed from what I can tell, but I know Bonner County is fairly strict on noise ordinances, with decibel levels actually listed in the code. We were debating on a property up there and had to turn it down, because of the noise limits.

Picked up a bantam naked neck cockerel yesterday. Can't wait to breed him to a few hens. We're gonna have some fun projects next year.

No, they have to earn names around here lol That's why our naked neck hens are named Squeaky, Almost Squeaky and Nearly Squeaky

i like to pic names that match their personalities..

I think he's probably going to be Squwanky (Sku-won-key). He has a terrible crow lol And he loves to inflict it on anyone and everyone.
