Well if you want to wait a bit, mine will be laying by fall, I hope. I have mine mostly for eye candy in the flock, but will take advantage of their purebred status.. Lol

I can be patient Peacocks may be part of the 5 year plan also, not sure yet though. Right now I'm getting a handle on my 1 year plan: White and Buff Ameraucanas, Red Dorkings, and Red and Silver-Grey Dilkies (Dorking/Silkies).
The start of my 2 year plan will have: Black and Blue Ameraucanas, and White and Colored Dorkings. But that's next year.

We need a good Disney villian name for my little Cemani roo, since we've used Jafar. Anyone have ideas? The pullet is Ursula.

Disney movies! Totally getting names from Disney from now on. My son has been quite ingenious lately though. I brought home 4 chickens 2 weeks ago and asked him what to name them. Without any hesitation he said: Dennyl, Eekey, Acko, and Twank.
Huh? Where do you get these names? He said they come from inside him
