I'm sorry

So my Splash Ameraucana was taking FOREVER on the nest this morning. I went out at 11:30, she was on it, so i closed the door and waited outside while she was singing her egg song... opened the door 5 min later, my Wellie Lemonade kicked her out of the nest to lay HER egg, got to watch Snowball for a minute singing her egg song while Lemonade was doing her thing... closed the door for a few more minutes, then Snowball took back the nest. Went back at 12:30 to clean off the poop board, Snowball was STILL on the nest, no longer singing, but pulling straw closer around herself while watching me. She did get up when i tried to pet her, so was able to retrieve Lemonade's egg. But then she went right back to sitting on the fake eggs once I cleared out. Was thinking she was practicing being broody or something because she's only laid 1 egg a few days ago. My husband sent me a pic of a large blue-green egg with a new speckled layer's egg!! No wonder she took so long on the box this morning!

I love my girls... And I am not sure when I'll stop being excited for getting eggs/posting them on social media lol.

Patience :)
I had one hatch last night, one this morning, and my husband just told me there are 4 running around in the incubator. Only downside is, I need to know which ones hatch from which eggs and put leg bands on some of them to keep them... and my husband is seriously slacking.

So... Hubby didn't leg band any of them today, so I can't sell any of the ones that hatched today because I don't know what breeds they are. There are only two, white Ameraucana, and a white Ameraucana/leghorn mix that I was going to keep for egg laying.

Here's my babies. 6 total today, one's still fluffing up.

Oh, and a buff Ameraucana/White Ameraucana mix also

3 of these are white Ameraucana/Leghorn mixes. Any bets on which 3?

And the one in the top middle is not a Leghorn mix. And one of the blues is not a Leghorn mix. Those ones hatched before I left this morning
