These are my first I had the eggs shipped from Boggy Bottoms in GA These are the only ones up here and all my birds are Cuckoo I black hen But she carries the Cuckoo gene I intend to order more eggs in the Spring of a different color I will have hatching eggs over the winter and Cuckoo chicks about february They will be sexlinked blacks will be rooster and Cuckoo hens from the black hen Cuckoo Roo and hen from my Cuckoo hen

ooh! after looking at that cute picture you posted I googled, found boggy bottoms and looked through all of their photos, I decided that I liked the goldnecked ones best. So pretty!

What was your hatch rate with the shipped eggs? And how were they shipped?

Excellent shipping practices and 7 of 12 formed and hatched I had a neighbors cat get a quail and a dunquail pullet and a Cuckoo cockerel I just sold a dun Cuckoo Roo

That is a great percent hatched out.

Were they shipped USPS or UPS?

USPS It took from Monday to Wednesday and I rested them 24 hrs

I'm looking for to add a couple laying hens to our flock. If you have or know of any who have some for sale in the anchorage/matsu area I would sure be interested. Not sure how to inbox but apparently it can be done.

Anyone know who in the state might sell some fertile eggs?

You want fertile eggs now? Or next spring?

I bought eggs from a lady here in Homer. She has Ameracaunas BBS and Black Copper Marans. Her Black Copper rooster died a month or so ago, and she now has a young replacement. Point being, i am not sure if the young Marans rooster is fertile yet, and they are all run together right now.

If you want her number i could look it up for you.
