North to Alaska!

It has been crazy rainy down here too!

As to fertile eggs... I don't think they would be hard to find... depending on where you are.

The valley has the best selection.

Facebook is a good resource... or stop by your local feed store and ask.

I’m in Valdez. Tried one local source, but the eggs weren’t fertile after all. Figured there might be something in the Copper Basin area. No Facebook or feed store here :)

Yeah.... you might have to wait for spring, and make a run up to Anchorage or the valley... see if any of the feed stores up there carry local fertile eggs... or just grab some chicks.

At the moment I only have one rooster over a mess of hens... so no idea how good he is covering.... also, I am close to Homer.

We have had a few old birds for many years from up country that would have been culled in our high tunnel greenhouse. Great pest control once the plants are bigger. Just looking to build a younger flock.
