We've taken a little break from showing this fall because we now have horses (2 mustangs & 2 minis), and I've been spending a lot of time training them and not as much with the chickens. But I really missed showing, and I'm excited to jump back in... the NEPC show is my favorite!

No Silkies this time around, but we are bringing 6 Narragansett turkeys, 3 Dominiques & 3 Bantam Dominiques. I'm hoping to sell 3 out of 4 of the Narri jakes that I'm bringing. They're big and look really nice. So if you're in the market for a turkey or two, bring a big box! LOL

I'm also looking for a SQ or BQ Blue Silkie roo. I really hope I can find one at the show so I can get my Blue/Splash breeding pen together. We lost our blue roo to crookneck a while back, and I'm sad about that because he was sweet and very handsome, and I worked really hard to get him well again, but he didn't make it. We didn't even have time to get any babies out of him.

I don't know what it is, but we've had the worst luck with Blue/Black/Splash silkie roosters the past few years. The girls and all our buffs are chugging along without a problem.

I'l be there, I'm also selling a wheaten OEGB cockerel, I'l also probably be buying a wheaten OEGB cockerel. there's nothing wrong with the cockerel, i just need to mix up some blood/ He's a really nice bird, last year his father won reserve english, mother won BOV and his sister has won best in show at several smaller shows. Anybody interested let me know, I have three to choose from and can send pictures.
