We sold a bunch of birds and even hooked a couple young Amish gentlemen up with some free roosters!

- next year's get together will be at our farm over here in NH!! Mark your calendars for July 7, 2012!!

I will probably start a thread in the fall so you all can help with the million hours and details that go into planning one of these

for Lovins, did she get to "plant her fish" last night?

Had a good time yesterday, wish we could of stayed longer, had to go rescue my MIL from my 3 yr old DD.

Her Mother bought a fish too so now both fish are Planted:)

Ok...Now I HAVE to come next year. I want one peacock and one peahen. Please let me know soon how much they will cost so I can start saving now. Wouldn't the tines from a drag make great peacock feathers?

X4 but my money is on hen, the lacing in the roos is MUCH different near the neck. That's a hen.
 
if anyone on here know where i can get my hand on some nice white and butterscotch call ducks would be greatly appreciated, i know lovin you metioned to me a breeder in maine with some nice calls thanks

Thanks for the information. They definitely have to be mixed. The australorps we got some had different colors mixed in their feathers and one had a rose comb with black feet and pinkish grey toes. The hen I posted a picture of has a single comb and the other similar to her we got has a different pattern but looks like a roo with a larger comb. As long as we get eggs we don't really care. The hen is kind of mean though to the rest.
