Awh hopefully they're fertile! One of my almost 12 yr old(July) Muscovy is broody gave her 3 Runner and Buff eggs I’ll know in about 2 more days if they are fertile. I can’t let them hatch out Muscovy sine I already have a drake and he would make life miserable for all of us.
Doughie is so adorable sitting on her nest.![]()
Well, someone ate *two* eggs last night, one from the nest and I assume what Sprightly laid.
I don't want to make assumptions or name names, but Sprightly did have yolk dripping off her face this morning which was a little bit suspicious
I'll be separating them tonight, see but no touch, so that I can be sure
They've never eaten their eggs like that before, not unless they're offered to them, but Sprightly has been very upset since Dougie went broody, perhaps this was out of spite![]()
