Not again 😣

No egg this morning which has me worried...
She was laying down pumping her tail hard until about 5 am I guess, and then since then she's felt much better, she has an appetite today. I offered her two pills and she happily swallowed them both down. So she's had a full 600mg of calcium citrate and vitamin D. She's also eating properly again today, the limp has also gone...

She was 100% having egg troubles last night, I'm certain. So how is there still no egg, over ten hours later? :(
The fact she's gone from clearly trying to push an egg out, to happy and carefree, with no progress, has me worried

I’ve had an egg bound duck they don’t go from egg bound to feeling good again without laying an egg so lets hope if there is an egg it comes today. When my Muscovy was egg bound she isolated herself from the flock looked miserable too.
This is how she was, she was sitting in the corner looking very sorry for herself- tail down, somewhat fluffed up, and with a bad limp. Refusing treats, not eating.

Then she felt a little better after her baths and some love, ate a treat. Then continued pumping her tail until around 5 am.
Then she seemed fine, active, no limp, eating, back to herself. I suppose in theory it's possible she laid after I went to sleep, and just ate it- but usually there is some of it left, pieces of membrane, or broken egg yolk here or there... there was nothing to be found.

She was okay yesterday, and laid an egg last night, so I'm not too worried now. But it is very odd. Sprightly can give mixed signals sometimes, but Dougie is much easier to read and I am certain she was having difficulty.

Anyway, hopefully whatever happened is okay now....

Has she been to a vet? With the calcium not helping, I'm wondering more if there could be an underlying infection (egg yolk peritonitis maybe?), maybe some kind of bacteria or fungal thing. I hope she's doing better!
Do you mean Dougie or Sprightly?

I can't really do vets right now, our vet isn't the best and I can't afford it anyway
