Not having consistent laying from my pullet hens??

Also, may I ask what you feed your pullets?

Started with Purina Flock Raiser 20% for $18/50#. Then got switched to MG Layer Feed 20% $12/50# and ordered the MG Grower formula 18% (not normally stocked) for $15/50#. All non medicated and free choice.

Girls also get kitchen scraps and pulled weeds from the unsprayed yard and flower beds. The little bit of forage in the run (about to move it to fresh) and anything else I bring home. The meal worms are a hit. So are the acorns that are raining down on them.

Sure, we have 6 breeds, and we got them April 21 2017. 4 Speckled Sussex, 3 Delaware, 3 Easter Eggers, 2 Dominique, 1 Salmon Favorelle, 3 Buff Orpington

According to what I read on the intranet, 6 months plus for the Buff Orpingtons & easter eggers. Dominique and Delaware at 5 months? Not sure about the others. Also, if they aren't laying before the days get less than 12 hours (today officially) then they will hold out for spring. I'll be tickled if I get a few eggs a day through March.

What exactly is MG feed? And where do you purchase? We wanted organic that's why we went with purina organic.

Out of your beds I only have EE and Doms.
My EE lay more often than the Dom.
But both are pretty good layers.
EE 5 - 7 eggs a week
Dom 4 - 6

I normally feed the 16% layer crumbles fermented but recently switched to the 18% grower (fermented too) because my flock is molting.
