Not having consistent laying from my pullet hens??

I am not saying that feeding organic is bad/wrong.
More power to the people who choose to feed it and spend the few extra dollars for it.

Also they are not mooting, but we in fact got 16/16 eggs today. Just wondering why some do not lay. Some days we will get 9/16.
The pure breeds lay in average 220-260 annually in the first 2 years. If you want 300-330 eggs a year you should get some production mix breed like Hyline or Lumhan or some black sex link or a pure breed white leghorn.

I don't ever sell eggs as organics. Just do it for my family & friends. Love that Nature's Best is a PA company. I find I feed less of it than other feeds. Not sure why! I go back & forth, but ultimately feel better feeding organic & try to eat as much organic or home grown as I can, although they don't make organic Cheez Its, LOL.

Edited to add: I am lucky in that we have some wonderful organic local & organic practices local meat, produce & eggs. I don't of course buy all organic, but buy grass fed beef for the last 20 years (not organic but I am comfortable with their practices). I also focus on grass fed organic butter & milk when I can, again local PA grass fed organic from Natural by Nature or Trickling Springs Creamery. I grow some of my own produce & do the best I can with the rest.
