Beautiful, thank you🤗
We do plan on keeping 2-3 roosters, why do you recommend this one specifically? If you dont mind me asking🙃
Delawares are a heritage breed with sweet temperaments. Roosters are usually quite respectful to humans. They defend their flocks loyally and I have heard a couple of stories about Delaware roosters fighting predators to the death. They are very kind to their hens. And if you get the off one that is none of these things, they are very tasty. If you breed, Delawares are great for mixes and pures. The females lay lots of brown eggs.
Plus, they are beautiful!
I really wanted a Delware for my first flock, but baby chicks are selling out like crazy and I couldn't get any. But I still love the breed!

1- Easter egger
2- blue laced red wyandotte
3- white rock (or possibly white leghorn)
4-brown leghorn (or possibly welsummer)
5- Easter egger
6- white leghorn
7- cuckoo cochin
The ones I’m unsure of mostly depend on their egg/earlobe color and adult body shape.

Sure, you could post more, but I’d prefer it if you waited until they were at least 12 weeks old. Then, their adult feathering and body shape/size will be much easier to see.

I can tell you what breed or mix of breeds you have. All you have to do is post some pictures and tell me where you got your chicken(s).

Preferred pictures would be a standing side profile, a picture of the legs and feet (if not included in the side profile), and a picture of the comb (if it's not a single comb).

I would also prefer that you only post chickens that are older than 12 weeks. I can try with younger chicks, but sometimes it's impossible to know at that age.

I would be happy to tell you how I came to my conclusions. If you're wondering about your chicken's sex, I can help with that, too!
