That's not red, it's pullet pink. And yes, the wattles blush before the comb sometimes. Entirely normal for 7-8 weeks.

I am curious to see early predictions on my 3 week old chicks. They are from Tractor supply unsorted selection. I know this is early, but I'd appreciate anyone that would like to take a shot at predicting pullet or roo (don't worry if it is not correct.) I will post updated pics again next week when they are over 4 weeks.
