Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

Somehow I missed this post this morning when I made my post!!! (Lack of caffeine, new to the site, I'll blame!)

I have a 6 week old Ameraucana (named Fried) that we're suspecting is a cockerel. Photos I took this morning. (Two people said on my original post that Fried is a cockerel...not that I don't believe them, just checking for multiple opinions!)

Easter Egger cockerel

Barred Rock for the father then, Dominiques have rose combs that are dominant over the single comb. Are they still cheeping like chicks? That would indicate that they are under 10 weeks old, and most definitely cockerels. If they have been clucking for a while and those combs just started to redden up, then they are probably 14 to 18 week old pullets.

Thank you. They dont make much noise, so I wasn't sure. We were thinking roos, but they haven't been crowing or maybe not even trying... im not sure lol. Im hoping for roos though.

This is one of my hens that my sister in law gave me. Is she a Barred Rock or Dominique?
