Yep. Definitely a cockerel.

Is my 13 week old bantam Cochin "frizzle" a Wilma or William? Hen or roo? I was sure she was a hen but I swear she was trying to crow this morning. My other bantam cohchin has had red comb and wattle since 4 weeks.

If it's a black sexlink, it's a pullet; but with a comb that red, at that age, I doubt it's a black sexlink. The rusty red through the wing/shoulder is male specific. Looks like one of the new Asia Blacks.

X2 I don't think it's a black sex link either.

I was told the age of this one was the same as my others who are now 8 weeks old, but I'm thinking I wasn't told the correct age. This is the only picture I've got of him/her since my camera froze after taking this, but I'm thinking cockerel by the way my lead boy reacts to him....as well as the colors coming in on him. I was also told Ester Egger which I'm thinking he is.
So, roo or pullet?
