Yes but I figured since the other one was so busy I would make a 2nd one. I put your name in the beggining of this thread but you never replied. We also do breed.Hope you don't mind.
I've been hopping back and forth between the two threads... sometimes I leave a few posts behind unanswered if I don't know what it is...(breed or gender)Yes but I figured since the other one was so busy I would make a 2nd one. I didn't reply because I didn't know about it. It doesn't matter though
It is pretty busy! Two threads is a good idea. I could run the first one and you run this one. That way we might not get so many missed posts. If we get too many more posts we'll have too make a third one! lol.
To young to say for sure but I think all of them look like cockerels.
Guessing Roo on these two (they are either barred rock mix it pure barred rock but
I'm guessing mix because their barring isn't what I'd expect with pure)...they're 5.5weeks old...super tall stature - long necks and legs and very pecky with me...
Not sure on this one - barring appears to have more white but comb appears smaller - could also be BR mix or full...
5.5 week buff orp...comb seems a bit more prominent than the other two I have...thinking roo?
I'm leaning towards cockerel.
most likely a cockerel, but time will tellCan you sex silkie's? I was going to wait a bit longer, but one of my four has started getting a pinkish comb, and I know they say it's very hard to tell which are boys and which are females, but I thought at this young of an age it might be a cockerel? It's two months.
