Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

I was just looking at pics of brown leghorn pullets and the comb is way smaller and feathers are not has sharp. does its tail curve or does it go straight. I couldn't tell in the pic because you were holding it and somtimes their tails go down when you hold them.

He is very pretty and just because he is a rooster dosen't mean he won't always have his great personality one of my relatives have a couple of roosters with great personalities and love to be handled!

His tail is kinda straight. IiI can't have roosters where I live. I have a white Leghorn too...can you look at it too? Smaller comb but the brown one always tries to fight with this this one.

Hello! I have a juvenile, not sure of age or breed. He/she was found abandoned on the street in an apartment complex in Dubai; when I got him home and to a vet he was diagnosed with bird mites and secondary infections -- he's had to re-grow all his head feathers and I'm not sure if it affected his comb/body as well. I'm including a photo from his initial vet visit in January, and a photo from about a week ago. Within the past seven days his comb and around the face have been turning more red. No obvious rooster behavior yet, but no eggs either, lol. Thoughts? Thanks! Kate in UAE...

Looks like about 5 weeks old in the first photo which puts him at about 12 to 14 weeks now. Definitely a cockerel.
